The SureCommand Hardware Assets page lists every laptop, monitor, phone and peripheral the organization owns with its asset tag, type, inventory item, make and model, serial number, status — Assigned, In Stock, In Repair, Retired or Disposed — the employee holding it and the warranty end date. Filter by status, search the register, and view or edit any asset from its row.
Every hardware asset is one stock unit of an inventory item, so adding one starts by picking an existing item and unit or creating a new item under a product. The asset details then capture the asset tag, type, serial number, warranty end, purchase date and cost, invoice reference, supplier and notes.
The asset page shows the item and unit, make and model, type, serial number, who it is assigned to and since when, purchase date and cost, supplier and invoice, warranty end and notes. A Fixed Asset Purchase panel ties the asset to its accounting deposit, and work orders can be linked or created straight from the asset.
Below the work orders, Actions assign, return, repair, retire or dispose of the asset; Assignment History records every employee who has held it and when; and History logs each field change with its before and after values and who made it.
Editing keeps the inventory item fixed and updates the asset tag, type, serial number, warranty end, purchase date and cost, invoice reference, supplier and notes.
Settings holds the list of asset types — Laptop, Monitor, Phone, Peripheral and any you add — each with a display order, so the register is classified the way your department thinks about its equipment.
The Software Licences page lists every licence with its vendor, type — Perpetual, SaaS, Subscription or Open Source — seats used of owned, the renewal date with the days remaining or overdue, the owner and an Active, Expired or Cancelled status. Filter by status and search the register.
A licence is a company-private inventory item where each purchased seat is one stock unit: pick an existing item or create one under a software product and set the seats. The licence details capture the type, vendor, the owner who receives the renewal emails, licence key, billing cycle and renewal date with an auto-renew flag.
The form finishes with the purchase date, cost, invoice reference and notes, so the licence is ready to be matched to its accounting deposit.
The licence page shows the item, vendor, type and billing cycle, seats used of owned, renewal date, owner with email, licence key, purchase date, cost with invoice and notes. The Seats table lists each employee holding a seat, the hardware asset it is installed on and when it was taken; add seats or release one in a click.
Below the seats, the Fixed Asset Purchase panel links the licence to its accounting deposit, Actions change its status, and History logs every change with the field, old and new values and who made it.
Renewals gathers everything due within the chosen window on one page: licence renewals with seats, cost, auto-renew and owner; hardware warranties with asset tag, serial and assignee; and domains and certificates. The licence owner is emailed 30, 7 and 1 day before each date.
Alert Settings names the addresses that receive domain and SSL expiry alerts and are copied on licence renewal and hardware warranty alerts, and sets the days-before thresholds — one email per threshold.
The Websites page lists every site the department runs, for customers or its own, with the customer, environment — Production, Staging or Development — registrar, domain expiry, SSL expiry and hosting provider. Approaching and overdue dates are coloured so nothing lapses unnoticed.
A website record holds the URL, customer, environment, registrar, domain expiry, SSL issuer and expiry, hosting provider, DNS provider, technical support contact, a credential reference naming where the login is kept — never the password itself — and DNS or nameserver notes.
The Renewals board that lists licences and warranties closes with Domains and Certificates: each URL with its customer, domain expiry, registrar, SSL expiry and issuer, filtered by the due-within window.
The alert email list receives every domain and SSL expiry alert; several addresses may be separated by commas, and the days-before thresholds decide how far ahead each warning goes out.
The SLA Board opens with open tickets, breached, due soon and the satisfaction score, then lists every open ticket with its subject, requester, SLA class, channel — phone, email, portal, walk-in or chat — response due and resolution due with Met, On track, Due soon or Breached badges, the status and an escalation flag.
Resolved (last 90 days) reports the response-met and resolution-met percentages and lists every closed ticket with its class, whether response and resolution were met or breached, and the requester’s star rating.
Each SLA class sets how many hours a ticket has for the first response and for resolution, timed from creation — Critical, High, Normal and Low out of the box. Edit the hours inline, reorder the classes or add your own.
Manuals is the support knowledge base. Categories such as Getting Started, Hardware, Network and VPN, Email and Accounts and Security list how many manuals each holds, who created it and when, with a search across every manual at the top.
A category needs only a name and a display order; leave the order blank to add it last.
Clicking a category name opens its manuals in a quick-view window, so a technician on a call can jump to the right guide or open the whole category.
A category page lists its manuals with the ID, name and image count, View and Edit actions and a Create Manual button.
A manual has a name and a rich-text description with headings, tables, images, video and links, so procedures read the way they were written.
The manual page shows the formatted guide — here an escalation path with the SLA classes and who each level escalates to — with Supporting Documents attached below it.
Reopen any manual in the editor to keep it current as procedures change.
