The SureCommand Education Dashboard counts every graduate for a date range and groups them by accrediting body and certificate — Canadian Red Cross first aid on one card, Ministry of Community Safety security guard, private investigator and use of force programs on the next — with a running total at the top of the page. Change the From and To dates to compare intakes or report to a regulator.
Clicking a count opens the students behind it. The list shows each graduate, their phone number and the date the certificate was issued and expires, and is searchable, so the office can reach a cohort in seconds and see who is due for renewal.
The Units page organises students into working groups — an evening class, a September intake, a blended first aid group, a recertification cohort or a self-paced online group — each with its name, member count and a description of how it runs.
Opening a unit shows its details and members. Students are added or removed from the group in one click, and bulk actions can be applied to the whole unit at once.
The Programs list is the catalogue of everything the school teaches — security officer training, loss prevention, construction supervision, cybersecurity, first aid instruction, forklift certification and more. Each program records its accrediting body and the number of courses it contains, and opening one reveals its two settings tabs: Courses and Exam.
A program is built from ordered courses. Each course carries its class type (in class or online), audience, position in the sequence, accreditation and the sector, subsector and industry it applies to, so the program reads the way the regulator expects it.
The program ends with a final exam. The Exam tab lists each evaluation with its question count and creation date; a program can carry more than one, and a new one is created in a click.
Opening an exam shows every question with its type, options and the marked answer. Questions are edited or removed in place, and the Add Question button keeps the bank growing.
The question editor supports multiple choice and select-all-that-apply, a rich-text question body for formatting, images and tables, a configurable number of options and a checkbox to flag each correct answer.
Opening a course from the program shows its lessons — each with its delivery day, required and recommended hours, quiz question count and order, with totals across the course — and new lessons are created from the same page.
Every course ends with a test. The Test tab lists the questions with their options and the correct answer, so instructors can review and edit the assessment without leaving the course.
Each lesson holds its teaching material — slides, documents and other files, each with a delivery type — and its own quiz. Questions can be multiple choice or select-all-that-apply, and the correct answers are marked right on the page.
The Class Management page lists every scheduled class for a branch and month — ID, class name, start date and time, duration in days and total enrolled. Filter by certificate to see one program at a time, cancel a class in one click, and cancelled classes stay on the list struck through so the history is never lost.
Scheduling a new class takes a course, a date and a start and end time. The class appears on the list immediately and is ready for enrolment.
Each class opens on its Details tab with the start date and time and the day-by-day schedule of start and finish times. The attendance sheet is printed from here.
The Roster shows every enrolled student with their phone number and a check-mark grid for the paperwork the class depends on — released, picture, previous certificate, course certificate, first aid, consent received and consent sent — so gaps are visible before the first day.
The Attendance tab records attendance for each class day and flags who is exam ready. Students who drop out are removed from the class from the same list.
The Picture tab lays out the student photographs for the class beside a class picture upload, so instructors know their students on sight and the office has the photo on file for certificates and licences.
The Schedule tab edits the class date, start and end time and schedule ID after the class has been created.
The Students page lists everyone currently enrolled with their photo, course, purchase and registration dates and progress through the lessons, searchable by name and year. Progress at a glance shows who is on track and who has stalled.
The Graduated tab keeps the same view for students who have completed their course, with progress showing every lesson done.
The Revoked tab holds students whose enrolment was withdrawn, with the progress they had reached, so the record is complete.
The Pending tab lists students who cannot be certified yet because a photograph or identification is missing, marking each requirement as outstanding or rejected so the office knows exactly what to chase.
The Active tab is the register of issued certificates — student, phone, certificate date and expiry, certificate type, the course or program it came from and who generated it — with a search by name, city, certificate type and year.
The Expired tab shows the certificates that have lapsed and need renewing, so recertification classes can be filled before the students fall out of compliance.
The Emails tab keeps every bulk email the school has sent — date, subject, the audience it went to (graduates, licensed students, current students, employers, company employees and more) and a paperclip for any attachment.
Composing an email targets an audience by message type, region, certificate type, expiry and whether the student is looking for work, then adds a subject, a rich-text body and an attachment. Drafts are saved in the browser as you type, so nothing is lost to a time-out.
Opening a sent email shows who it targeted, the full message as it was written, the attachment for download and who created it.
The SMS tab lists every text message with its date, content, audience — graduates at 30 days, 3 months or a year, licensed graduates, uncompleted students and more — and whether it has been sent or is still pending.
A text is composed by choosing the message type, region and certificate type and typing the message. Timed follow-ups to graduates keep licensing, renewal and job placement on schedule.
