The SureCommand List of Buildings puts the whole portfolio on one screen: building name, address and owner beside the number of units, tenants and vacancies, parking spots, amenities, facilities and floor area. Every building ID opens its building profile.
The Details tab records what the building is: its type, floors above and below grade, approximate height, unit count, and the developer, architect and construction manager behind it.
The Units tab lists every suite with its occupants, pets, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking spots, intercom code and status — Occupied, Vacant or Construction. Tick rows to apply one action to the selection, or add a new unit.
Each unit has its own profile with Details, Parking and Lease tabs. Details holds the unit number, intercom and status, and a room-by-room breakdown with floor, room type, description and dimensions.
Further down the unit profile are the tenants and owners with their phone numbers and email, a Book Amenity button for each, the pets attached to the unit with breed, colour and microchip serial, and the storage lockers it holds.
The unit’s Parking tab shows its assigned spots by level, area and spot number, the occupants using each one and the make, model, colour and plate of their vehicles.
The Lease tab keeps the unit’s paperwork — tenancy agreements, renewals, rent increase notices, parking and pet addenda, move-in inspection reports — as PDFs with start and end dates, who uploaded each one and when.
The Occupants tab is the building’s resident directory: each person’s suite, cell and home numbers, email and whether they are a tenant or an owner. Numbers and emails are one click away.
Select occupants and pick an action to attach them to a unit, remove them, mark them as tenant or owner, email them, or invite them to the resident portal.
The Email action opens a rich-text composer above the list, so a message goes to exactly the residents who were ticked.
The Pets tab registers every animal in the building by name, suite, category, breed, colour and microchip serial, so staff always know which pets live in which unit.
The Parking tab lists every spot by level, type and area — occupant, visitor, commercial, loading bay, bicycle, with accessible spots marked — along with the suite, occupant, plate, vehicle and the expiry of any visitor pass.
Opening a spot shows its area, number, level, type and whether it is accessible, the tenants attached to it and a Parking Pass button.
Below the tenants, the spot lists the vehicles allowed to park there by plate, make, model, year and VIN. Tenants and vehicles are attached or removed from the same page.
The History tab keeps a record of every visitor who used the spot: the suite they visited, the visitor’s name and plate, the date, how many hours they stayed and the tenant who hosted them.
A visitor pass is issued against a unit and tenant, showing the passes, hours and overnight stays the tenant has left. Enter the visitor’s name, plate and vehicle, or pick a vehicle from a past visit, choose the duration, email the visitor and print the pass.
The Vehicles tab lists every registered vehicle by make, model, year, colour and plate, with the parking spot it is assigned to, the suite and the occupants who drive it.
The Lockers tab tracks storage, mail room and lobby parcel lockers by level, area and number, and shows which occupants and units hold each one. Empty lockers stand out at a glance.
The Amenities tab sets up each shared space — party room, guest suite, pool, squash court, theatre room — with whether it can be booked, its opening hours, slot length and capacity. Below it, the day’s bookings show the occupant, deposit, payment and signature for each reservation.
Each amenity has a month grid with a row for every day and a column for every hour, colour-coded by booking, so staff can see how busy it is and where the openings are.
The booking form shows the amenity’s hours, slot length and whether a deposit or payment is required. Pick the tenant and the date, and only the open time slots are offered.
The Facilities tab lists the building’s rooms and service areas — lobby, mail room, garbage room, electrical and boiler rooms, loading dock — with their location and the instructions staff and residents need to follow there.
The Work Orders dashboard lists recurring building maintenance — boiler service, elevator and sprinkler inspections, generator load tests, HVAC filters — with the interval in days or kilometres, when it was last done and when it is next due.
Below the schedule are the open work orders, each with its ticket number, priority from Hotshot to ASAP, status, start and due dates, the technician assigned and a category such as life safety, inspection, cleaning or repair. Closed orders move to their own tab.
The Incidents tab logs building incidents — water leaks, elevator outages, lighting failures, lock malfunctions, pest sightings — with the date and time, who reported it and a PDF of the report. Filter by resolved or unresolved.
The Announcements tab keeps every notice sent to residents — water shut-offs, elevator maintenance, fire alarm tests, meetings — with when it was posted and by whom.
An announcement has a subject, a rich-text body and attachments, and it can also be emailed to residents when it is posted.
The Calendar puts building events on a month, week or day view — board meetings, inspections, window washing, move-ins booked on the freight elevator — so residents and staff plan around the same schedule.
An event needs only a date, start and finish times, a subject and a description.
The Mail page tracks letters, parcels and packages received from the post office or a courier for residents: the suite, tenant, phone number, package type, when it arrived and whether it has been picked up. Handed-over items move to the Delivered tab.
The front desk logs an item by photographing it, choosing the unit and tenant, setting the package type and adding a short note.
Each package keeps its photo, notes and received time. A Reminder Email nudges the resident, and the resident signs on screen when they pick it up.
The SureCommand Lease Management page collects rental applications across every building. Each one shows the applicant, building and unit, the number of occupants, the monthly rent beside the household income, the requested move-in date, when it was submitted and whether it is Pending or In Progress. Decided applications move to the Accepted and Declined tabs, and declined ones keep the reason.
