The SureCommand till puts the whole sale on one screen. The current sale builds down the left with every line item, its quantity controls and its tax, totalling as you go; the right side is a single search box that takes a scanned barcode, a typed SKU or a product name. Products, Services and Training each get their own tab, so a uniform, an installation hour and a course seat can all go onto the same receipt. Hold, Quote, Customer and Void sit under the totals, with Pay always one tap away.
When a customer is not sure what they want, Browse opens the full catalog as category tiles — Apparel & Accessories, Electronics, Hardware, Office Supplies and the rest — each showing how many products it holds. Staff drill into a category, tap the item, and it lands in the sale. It is the same taxonomy the Inventory module maintains, so the till never needs its own product list.
Tapping an item in the till opens it without losing the sale. The universal product details name the product, its make and model and its full category path, and the item details carry the specifics of this variant — measurement type, colour and price per unit — with the stock on hand and the sale price above the Add to Sale button. Staff answer the customer's question and add the item in the same motion.
Services are sold from the same till as products. Pick the service, enter hours or quantity and the rate — hourly or flat — then choose which taxes apply. A running subtotal, tax and total update as the numbers change, and the notes field records the detail that belongs on the invoice, such as the site the visit was for. Add the service and it joins the products already in the sale.
Training seats sell through the till too. Choose a course and the price per seat appears, along with its upcoming sessions so the customer can be booked onto a specific date. The seat is added to the same sale as everything else, which keeps course revenue, product revenue and service revenue on one receipt and in one transaction.
Every sale can be attached to a customer without leaving the till. Search an existing Individual or Organization by name and phone, ring it through as a Walk-in with no account, or create a new customer on the spot. A purchase order number can be recorded against the sale at the same time, which is what turns a counter sale into something the customer's accounts payable team will accept.
The dedicated customer lookup searches individual and organization profiles by first name, last name, profile ID or phone number. It is the fast path when a customer calls about an order rather than standing at the counter — find the profile, open it, and every cart, invoice and delivery for that customer is right there.
Any sale in progress can be turned into a branded PDF quote instead of a payment. The quote carries the organization's name, address and phone, a quote number and date, the client details, and every line with its rate, quantity and sub-total — then the tax lines and the quote total. Signature lines for both the organization and the customer are already on the page, so it can be signed as it stands.
A sale never has to be finished in one go. Holding a cart parks it and frees the till for the next customer; the header keeps a count of everything currently held. Open carts lists them by cart number and the time they were started, so staff can pick the right one back up, or start a new sale — useful for a busy counter and for orders that are waiting on a decision.
Opening a customer from the till shows their profile as the counter staff need it: photo, name, profile ID and whether they are an individual or an organization, with General, Details, Addresses, Notes and Retail tabs underneath. The General tab keeps the details a cashier reaches for most — full name and the phone numbers to reach them on.
The Details tab holds the fuller identity record — profile ID, gender, height, weight, eye colour, corrective lenses, handedness and driver's licence number. For organizations issuing uniforms or controlled goods, this is the information that proves the right person collected the right item.
Customers carry as many addresses as they need, each with its full city, province, country and postal code, and each marked with what it is — a site address is labelled as one. Addresses can be attached to the profile or actioned in bulk, and they are what the delivery step draws on when an order has to be sent rather than carried out of the store.
Notes record what happened with this customer and who recorded it. Each note carries a subject, the author and their department, and a visibility setting that decides whether it stays with one department or is company wide. It gives the next person to serve this customer the context the last one had.
The Retail tab opens on every cart this customer has ever had, newest first, each with its number, when it was started, who served them and how many items it held. Open carts can be picked straight back up in the till with Open in till, and a new cart can be started for them from here — so a phone order and a counter visit are the same object.
Fulfillment tracks each line of an order from ordered to delivered. Every line shows the order number, the quantity ordered, the stock on hand and the quantity delivered so far, badged Ready, Shipped or Delivered. Lines can be selected together and moved to a new status or given a delivered quantity in one action, which is what keeps a part-delivered order honest.
Where an order is going is recorded against the order itself, drawn from the addresses on the customer's profile. Each delivery names the order it belongs to and the address it is bound for, and can be edited as arrangements change — so the counter, the warehouse and the driver are working from the same instruction.
Every invoice raised for this customer is listed with its number, date, total and outstanding balance, with anything still owing shown in red. It is the answer to "what does this customer owe us" without leaving the retail screen, and each invoice opens for the full detail.
An individual invoice shows every line item with its quantity and unit price, the transactions recorded against it, and its balance. From here staff can produce the PDF, record a transaction, or reverse the invoice — and notes can be added to the invoice itself, which is where the reason for a reversal or an adjustment belongs.
Sales notes are the retail-side counterpart to profile notes: what was quoted, what was promised, what to watch for. A note can also flag the customer, which is how a credit hold or a pattern of returns is passed to whoever serves them next.
Contracts, signed quotes and proof of delivery attach to the customer as documents, uploaded as images, PDFs or audio and typed on upload. Each document can be viewed, approved or removed, so the paperwork behind a sale lives with the customer it belongs to rather than in a shared drive.
The full item profile opens on any device, tablets included, and leads with what a sale depends on: the item name and number, its category path, whether it is available for sale, its sale price and the stock in hand. Details underneath separate catalog information — product, category, make and model — from the attributes that belong to this specific item.
The Features tab is the item as the customer hears it described: fit, fabric, pockets, stitching, care instructions. It is written once against the item and read by everyone who sells it, so the answer a customer gets at the counter is the same one they get on the phone.
Specifications are the measurable facts — material composition, fit, size range, weight, lining, closure and country of origin. Where Features sell the item, specifications settle questions: whether it meets a tender requirement, whether it will pass a uniform standard, whether it is the same item as last year's order.
Every item carries its own photographs, so staff can confirm they are holding the right thing and customers can see it before they buy. Images are held against the item itself, which means the till, the catalog and the customer-facing store all show the same picture.
Manuals, warranties and supplier paperwork attach to the item and are filtered by type. Each document lists what it is, when it was uploaded and its format, and opens for viewing on the spot — so a warranty question at the counter is answered from the item rather than from a filing cabinet.
Items can be linked to the accessories that go with them, and each link opens the accessory's own profile. It is the difference between selling a jacket and selling the jacket with the shirt that matches it — the suggestion is built into the item rather than left to whoever happens to be serving.
Notes on an item record what staff have learned about selling it — a recurring sizing complaint, a supplier substitution, a customer's feedback. Each note carries its subject, date and author, and expands for the full text.
Stock shows exactly what is in hand and where it is. Unit-counted items list every individual record with its quantity, the box it is in, the site and address it is held at and any memo against it, with a filter for the status being looked at. The count above the list is the number the till trusts when it decides whether the item can be sold.
